1. About GMB

Gupta Ji Marriage Bureau Pvt. Ltd. is a matchmaking and matrimonial consulting business established in 1995 and operating from Delhi.

GMB provides relationship-led matchmaking, family introductions, matrimonial assistance and related services. The Websites may also provide educational, informational, promotional and biodata-preparation resources.

The Websites are not intended to constitute a matrimonial guarantee, legal service, financial advisory service, medical service, psychological service, investigation service, title-verification service or any other specialist professional service unless expressly stated otherwise.

2. Use of the Websites

You may use the Websites only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not:

• use the Websites for fraud, deception, harassment, abuse, impersonation or any unlawful activity;
• submit false, misleading, defamatory, unlawful or materially incomplete information;
• attempt to obtain or disclose another person's confidential information without lawful authority;
• use the Websites to solicit, harass, threaten or improperly contact another person;
• copy, scrape, reproduce, systematically download or commercially exploit website content, data, photographs, profiles or other materials without GMB's written permission;
• interfere with the operation, security or availability of the Websites;
• introduce malicious code, viruses, automated systems or other harmful technology;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, systems, accounts or databases;
• use the Websites to impersonate GMB or any employee, representative, family or client; or
• use any information obtained through the Websites for an unrelated commercial or harmful purpose.

GMB reserves the right to restrict, suspend or terminate access where there are reasonable grounds to believe that these Terms have been violated or that continued access creates a security, safety, legal or legitimate business concern.

3. Website Information and Accuracy

GMB makes reasonable efforts to keep website information useful and current. However, information published on the Websites may change, become outdated or contain inadvertent errors.

Descriptions of GMB's history, experience, services, reach, achievements, families, testimonials, photographs, events and other matters are provided for informational and/or promotional purposes and should not be treated as an independent guarantee of any particular result.

Where the Websites refer to “screened”, “verified”, “introduced”, “guided” or similar terms, those terms refer to the nature and extent of GMB's own process and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every statement made by a third party is complete, accurate or independently verified in every respect.

4. Matrimonial Information and Third-Party Profiles

Any matrimonial, family, professional, personal or other information displayed or communicated through the Websites may originate wholly or partly from the relevant individual, family or other third party.

GMB may review or validate information as part of its own processes, but the Websites do not represent that every statement, document, credential, financial circumstance, property interest, health-related matter, educational qualification, employment detail, family circumstance, legal status or other representation has undergone forensic, governmental, medical, financial, title or departmental investigation.

Where a visitor or prospective client is considering an introduction, relationship, engagement or marriage, that person remains responsible for carrying out any independent enquiries or due diligence they consider appropriate.

5. No Guarantee of Matrimonial Outcome

Use of the Websites, submission of an enquiry, communication with GMB, preparation of a biodata, or viewing of any profile does not guarantee:

• that a suitable match will be found;
• that any particular person or family will respond;
• that an introduction will occur;
• that an introduction will result in a meeting, engagement or marriage; or
• that any relationship or marriage will continue successfully.

The Websites are intended to facilitate access to GMB's services and information. Any specific rights and obligations arising from a paid matchmaking engagement are governed by the applicable GMB Membership & Service Terms and Conditions.

6. Biodata Maker and User-Created Content

The website biodataformarriages.com may provide tools and templates that allow users to create, format, edit or download matrimonial biodata.

You remain responsible for all information, photographs, descriptions and other content that you enter into a biodata or other submission.

You represent that you have the right and authority to submit such material and that it does not knowingly violate any law or the rights of another person.

GMB does not independently verify every item entered into a user-created biodata and does not guarantee that a user-created biodata is accurate, complete, suitable for every purpose or legally sufficient for any particular use.

7. Information Submitted to GMB

When you submit an enquiry, form, message, biodata or other information, you authorise GMB to receive and process that information for the purpose for which it was submitted, in accordance with the applicable GMB Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Information submitted for the purpose of obtaining matchmaking services may be used by GMB to assess enquiries, communicate with you, determine suitability for services, facilitate requested introductions and otherwise provide the services you request.

Any disclosure of matrimonial information to another individual or family for matchmaking purposes will be governed by GMB's applicable service arrangements and privacy practices.

Marketing and promotional use of a person's name, photograph, video, testimonial, company name, logo or other identifiable material is subject to the applicable consent or authorisation obtained by GMB.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Websites and their contents—including text, designs, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, layouts, interfaces, trademarks, service marks, software, databases and other materials—are owned by, licensed to, or lawfully used by GMB and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the Websites for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, display, transmit, create derivative works from, sell, license or commercially exploit GMB's website content without prior written permission, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The name Gupta Ji Marriage Bureau, the GMB name, logo, associated marks and branding may not be used in a manner suggesting sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation or partnership without written authorisation.

9. Photographs, Videos, Testimonials and Client Stories

The Websites may display photographs, videos, testimonials, success stories, wedding or engagement imagery, family-event material, business names, company names or other media relating to GMB, its clients or its work.

Such material may be used only where GMB has the required permission, licence, consent or other lawful basis for the relevant use.

Nothing in these Terms should be interpreted as granting GMB a blanket right to commercially use every photograph, video or personal image appearing at a public event. Specific marketing and media rights may be obtained separately from the relevant person or rights-holder.

Likewise, a client or family being mentioned on the Websites does not necessarily mean that the client or company endorses any particular GMB product or service unless that endorsement is expressly stated.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Websites may contain links, integrations or references to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, communication services, social-media platforms or other services.

GMB does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, policies or actions of third parties.

Your use of a third-party service may be subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policies.

11. Electronic Communications

When you contact GMB through a website form, email, WhatsApp link, telephone link or other digital channel, you acknowledge that communications may occur electronically.

GMB may send communications necessary to respond to an enquiry, provide a requested service, confirm appointments or otherwise administer an existing relationship.

Promotional communications will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the preferences and consent mechanisms applicable to such communications.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Websites is also governed by the GMB Privacy Policy, which explains how GMB collects, uses, stores, protects and otherwise processes personal information.

Where the law gives a person rights regarding their personal information, nothing in these Terms is intended to unlawfully restrict those rights.

13. Security and Availability

GMB takes reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the Websites to maintain their security and functionality.

However, no website or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be continuously available, completely secure or entirely free from technical failures, malicious interference or other events beyond reasonable control.

GMB may temporarily suspend, modify or discontinue any Website, feature, tool or content where necessary for maintenance, security, technical reasons, legal requirements or legitimate business purposes.

14. No Professional Advice

Nothing on the Websites constitutes legal, financial, investment, medical, psychological, tax, property, employment or other professional advice.

Information relating to relationships, families, businesses, profiles or matrimonial matters is provided for general informational or matchmaking-related purposes and should not replace independent professional advice where such advice is appropriate.

15. Limitation of Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GMB shall not be responsible for losses or consequences arising solely from:

1. information supplied by third parties that proves to be false, incomplete or misleading;
2. decisions made independently by users, clients or families;
3. the conduct, statements, intentions, compatibility or future actions of persons introduced through GMB;
4. the use or misuse of information supplied through the Websites by a person other than GMB; or
5. interruptions, failures or events outside GMB's reasonable control.

GMB does not assume responsibility for the subsequent personal or family relationship of persons merely because an introduction originated through GMB.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, consumer right, remedy or obligation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability arising from GMB's own fraud, wilful misconduct or other liability that the law does not permit GMB to disclaim.

16. User Responsibility and Indemnity

You are responsible for information and material that you knowingly submit, upload or communicate through the Websites.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify GMB against third-party claims, losses or reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Websites, your material breach of these Terms, or your submission of material that you did not have the right or authority to provide.

This clause does not require you to indemnify GMB for liabilities caused by GMB's own unlawful conduct.

17. Changes to These Terms

GMB may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Websites, services, technology, business practices or applicable law.

The updated version will be published on the relevant Website with an updated “Last Updated” date.

Where a change materially affects an existing contractual arrangement, the applicable service agreement and any mandatory legal requirements will govern.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory jurisdiction or remedy available under applicable consumer or other law, courts of competent jurisdiction in Delhi shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes concerning these Website Terms.

Nothing in this clause is intended to prevent a person from exercising a statutory right to approach a competent consumer commission, regulator, authority or court where such right is provided by law.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue to operate to the extent permitted by law.

20. Entire Website Terms

These Terms, together with the GMB Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the general terms governing use of the Websites.

Where a user enters into a separate paid service or membership arrangement with GMB, the specific Membership & Service Terms applicable to that engagement shall govern that service relationship to the extent of any inconsistency.
